The word being conjugated here is “tud.” It is a helping verb, so the phrase to look at really involves the word “adni” (to give).
If I ask my dad if he could give me THE or THAT 1,000 bill to me, the helping verb (“could”) takes the definite conjugation (tudod).
But since I am asking for ANY 1,000 bill, the helping verb is indefinite (tudsz).
